DO I NEED A NEW ROOF ?

Signs such as water ingress, nail rot, sagging or fallen boards in the loft and constant repairs over a lengthy period of time are the key indicators as to weather or not a full roof replacement is your only option. If you are in an area where several of your neighbours have replaced their roof, its worth considering at least having the roof checked for your own peace of mind. 

 

 

 

WHAT IS YOUR LEAD TIME ON ROOFING?  HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL?

We currently have 3 roofing teams which mean we can start any project within 14-21 days. A re-roof usually takes 3 – 7 days depending on the size of your roof and weather conditions as we cannot erect / dismantle scaffolding or strip a roof on a wet and windy day.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A FULL ROOF REPLACEMENT ?

TECHNICAL SURVEY

 A loft inspection and drone survey is carried out to assess the condition of your roof. The roof is then measured so that all material can be accounted for. 

​

SCAFFOLDING / SKIP / DELIVERY OF ROOFING MATERIALS

We supply your scaffolding and skip. Scaffolding is delivered and erected on the same day. Followed by your skip and delivery of your new roofing materials. We will put them in a safe an accessible place with minimal disruption.

 

STRIPPING THE EXISTING ROOF

We strip the following materials from the roof. Tiles, ridges and hips, battens, felt and boards. Sarking board is only removed if defective.

 

FITTING NEW ROOF

 Your new roof will be fitted with the following;

 

​         OSB Sterling board (If old boards are removed)  

 

         Breathable membrane  

 

         Tile battens and counter battens  

 

         Marley tiles  

 

          Dry ridge system 

 

          Dry verge system

 

         Roof vents 

​

         Leadwork / flashing

         uPVC Roofline installation - Facia, soffits, gutters and downpipes

 

 

CLEAN UP

We always do a thorough clean up of your home after we have completed a job. This involves removing any debris, Sweeping your driveway with water to remove any dust and residue leaving your home spotless.

 

On completion of your project you will be granted with a 15 year roofing guarantee and a 10 year CORC insurance backed guarantee.
